I needed to have a broken parking brake release cable installed, so i called Valley Buick GMC to make an appointment. They made one for the time I requested and said that the part I needed was in stock and that they would have it ready when I came in. I showed up for my scheduled appointment on time and they took my vehicle into the shop within a matter of minutes. They gave me an estimated repair time of approximately two hours, and it was done in exactly that amount of time. The actual cost was a little less than 1/3 of the cost that they had estimated, so that was fine with me. After driving my 1991 Chev Silverado 1500 for 19 years I wanted a new vehicle with up-to-date amenities, a quieter ride, and better fuel economy. I have continued to enjoy the appearance of GM trucks and thus decided to look at a GMC Sierra 1500 vehicle. My first visit to Valley was to obtain a product booklet which Dwayne Pogue was kind enough to promptly find for me. He gave me his card and I departed. About a month later, and after studying available information about competing products I decided I would look more closely at a Sierra. I called Dwayne and set an appointment to visit. Dwayne could not have been easier to work with. We looked at a vehicle that had just been delivered the morning of my visit and I was impressed with the unit. I departed with a commitment to return and did so in about 2 weeks. This time I took the vehicle home overnight and had my wife drive it. She was likewise impressed and felt it was a vehicle she could comfortably drive. In another 7-10 days I told Dwayne I would buy the vehicle and we did so.
